Schlage BE468 Touchscreen Deadbolt
The Schlage BE468 Touchscreen Deadbolt requires a four set of high-quality alkaline AA batteries. To replace the batteries in the Schlage BE468 Touchscreen Deadbolt:
1. Remove the Battery Cover from the Inside Assembly.
2. Remove the connector.
3. Take out the battery tray.
4. Install the alkaline AA batteries.
Caution: Lithium batteries may cause undesired operation and are not recommended.
5.Replace the battery tray with care, with the batteries facing the door.
6. Replace the connector by snapping it back into place.
7. Replace the battery cover.
